Last night I was taken back by this picture: I walked into my living room to see my daughter wrapped up in my husband’s arms, finding shelter from the storm. See as the storms raged outside she sought shelter in her daddy’s arms. “come to me all you weary and heavy laden. Come to me and I will give you rest.”
Storms are a funny thing because we spend so much time trying to escape the rain, lightning and thunder that sometimes we forget that God uses the storms to bring about change and more importantly growth. This year has been one heck of a year, but I am trying to look at the storm clouds as signs that God is moving to bring me through change and growth. It is always nice to find rest in my Father’s arms.
